Support the Renfrewshire Witch Hunt 1697 and Paisley’s Bid to Become UK City of Culture in 2021
- January 13, 2017
Fablevision Studios is producing a 72-page booklet on the Renfrewshire Witch Hunt 1697 [RWH] to coincide with the opening of the RWH Experience on Paisley High Street (scheduled for September, 2017). The publication will explore the background to this infamous episode in Paisley’s past; the move from an artisanal weaving tradition to industrialisation; the decline of the thread industry in the 1970s, and culminate in the town’s bid to become UK City of Culture 2021.
If you are a Paisley or Renfrewshire-based business, educational establishment, charity, social enterprise etc. and would like to support this project by making a donation in exchange for an advertisement in the booklet, then please contact email@example.com for prices and technical specifications.
The Renfrewshire Witch Hunt 1697 is an integral part of Paisley’s bid for UK City of Culture 2021, so making a donation in this way will not only support the project concerned and give you the opportunity to advertise your products and/or services, it will contribute greatly to raising awareness of Paisley’s rich history, culture and amenities to tourists and residents alike in the run up to 2021.
We’ve only just started on this but among those who’ve already signed up are Paisley’s twin town, the City of Fürth, Middle Franconia, Bavaria, The Experience, Pioneer Mutual Credit Union, Paisley 2021, Flightpath Fund, Calside Contracts, La Rambla, Paisley, Roar…
